so i was wondering if i dyed my hair black and dressed in black like a emo and got the piercings and played the part of a emo but didnt cut myself would i actually be a real emo..? can anyone enlighten me on this matter?

You don't have to cut yourself to be "real emo." But think about it, do you really want to be like that? Is it something you really want to do because you find it to be a lifestyle you can identify with, or is it something to you feel like is the "cool" thing to do?
Be yourself man. If "looking emo" is that, then have at it. But if you're just doing it to impress people or make a statement, I don't think its worth it.

is your life so bad that you have to pretend to be emo? what if that qualifies you as emo? I think you should got to your room shut off the lights and cry about it for a while, the answer will come to you
