I recently dyed my hair a very dark brown that appears black.
I've been in the habbit of outlining my upper and lower lids with
a black eyeliner becase I love the defined and bold look it gives my eyes.
I'm also a fan of smokey eyes, so I do that look almost everyday.
But with my new hair alot of people are saying I look very emo,
even my mom says I should change my makeup style.
Does anybody have suggestions of what I should do to keep that defined and bold look with my eyes without looking emo?

If anything, if you don't like it (I LOVE it), lay off the eyeliner.
Use a brown eyeliner instead of black. And less of it.

You shouldnt go with the smokey eyes look. Go with a lighter color that will bring out your hair color and make you look less emo. Hope i helped!

"heavy" also caused by the darker hair color.
Make sure you are using a highlighter, midtone and accent shadow when you create your smokey eye look,

You can still keep the eyeliner but maybe do the top lid only. and apply a bage or light colour eye shadow over your eyeliner so it doesn't look too bold, but you will still get that look. and how about a little blush on your cheeks not too much and some gloss and that would look great.
People who have dark hair me being one of them, I know that If I don't apply blush it makes me look sick you want some colour to brighten your face. I hope I was of some help.

Oily Skin Mask
(This helps get rid of pimples and blackheads)
INGREDIENTS
6 oz plain yogurt
2 drops of thyme oil
2 drops of mint oil
Juice from 1 lemon
闄?packet of yeast
2 Tbsp of starch from potatoes (let the potatoes sit in
the water for several hours, use 2 Tbsp of the milky water)
DIRECTIONS
Combine ingredients in food processor. Apply to entire face
paying particular attention to pimples and blackheads. Leave
the mask on for ten to twenty minutes. Rinse.
For Dry Skin...
INGREDIENTS
6 oz plain yogurt
褰?finely crushed almonds
2 tsp Beeswax or honey
2 tsp wheat germ oil
DIRECTIONS
Mix all the ingredients until you obtain a smooth texture.
Apply and massage into skin. Keep the mask on for twenty
minutes.
How should I do my makeup so I don't look 'emo' ? i know how you feel. i have natrually very dark brown hair and i like the same style make-up as you. you should try to make your make-up more feminin, but you can still keep the boldness. try a very dark brown liquid eyeliner. make a thick line on only your upper eyelid, drag the line upward so it makes a cat eye effect. dont apply any eyeshadow, otherwise, it will be over-whelming. put on dark brown mascara (if you have any) Then do a peachy blush but dont apply too much , it will give you a sun kissed look.
