They're both basically the same thing.

I don't think it really matters. As long as it has a bunch of layers,

extensions, %26amp; a bunch of colors.

scene hair is really in right now. i have shoulder length hair with choppy bangs [not side bangs] and tons of layers. i straighten my hair stick straight, and then poof up the layers with hair paste. add some grey eyeshadow and black eyeliner to your eyes, some clear gloss, and your scene-a-rific xD

First, I want to say PLEASE, anything but emo hair. I mean absolutely no offense when I say this, but the entire emo trend is pretty much a joke to most people over the age of 16.

Be yourself. Style your hair how you like it. You'll find out soon enough that being yourself will pay off. Unless you're some kind of serial killer! But I'm gonna assume you aren't.

But seriously, there will come a time, most likely called college, when you'll find yourself, and say forget what everyone else thinks my hair should look like! I like this hair on me. Being yourself might not pay off too well now, but in the long run you'll like you more if you're you.

So to answer your question, I'd go with either dreads or the carrot top fro. Choose wisely.

i think you should be original, and not copy all of the 'scene' and 'emo' hair styles. the whole point of it is to be original, but now everyone is doing it. i think it looks crazy, so many different colors and layers and cuts in one style!
