I was wondering how to turn my hair into emo style straight like.What would I do.This would not be permanent its just for a photo shoot me and my sister doing I love hair.So how would I mske it straight.I'm dominican and black and have curly hair sort of in waves but there not soft curls.I have combination hair.

there are some shampoo's you can use to temporarily straighten your hair..and you can always straighten your hair with a flat iron.then when you wash it off,your hair will go back to being natural.

if youre only going to be using it once you could get a really budget hair straightner but it would still be like $30

maybe you could get your sister to borrow one of her friends hair straightners

i would say grow yo hair out to an afro so u could get da bang thing but i would say get a perm but if yo hair is long enough already and u dont want a perm then you could press it wit a hot comb and dont sweat the press out til u dont need it to b straigh no mo

I'm Panamanian and black and I have pretty tight curls. A few years ago I did the fro thing and was surprised how straight my hair actually got. First I let my hair grow out for a while (got kinda nappy, lol), then all I did was put a perm kit in it and washed it out. When it was wet it would hang to about my eyebrows and when it was dry it would poof out like a fro. So depending on you hair, after the perm you could use a hot comb maybe to get that laid emo look like the others said.

Oh, and only thing about the perm you may have to wash it out or cut your hair to get rid of it...it depends on the length and type of hair.
