i hate those skinny emo looking dorks with all black on and tight pants and chicken legs and pasty pale looking skin,, makes me sick just thinking about you

i dont hate emo. i just dont understand it. we all have our problems. everyone does. why some choose to pout and sob over their problems and act so depressed in the publics eye as if others are interested i will never know...

these people are not to be confused with the so called "posers" who are regular, respectful, friendly kids just listening to the music. im guessing youre talking about a real emo kid.

I don't hate them...one of my neighbors is "emo" and he is a really good kid. Does well in school, is respectful and friendly...people need to stop being so judgemental of others.

I don't hate EMO bands, they just don't do anything for me. I'm more into Goth, Industrial or Old School Rock like Floyd, Zep, Sabbath or the likes of those bands.l I've got nothing against bands like dashboard confessional or bright eyes, they just don't do it for me. I'm glad you like them, keep on rockin'.

I do not hate emo. I am older and it was not called emo when I was young. Are you talking about how they look or the reason behind it? I do not mind the way they look, the ones I have met look fine. If you are talking about the emotional aspect of being emo, everyone has problems and we deal with them in different ways. Many young people do not have understanding parents and that adds to the problems. Most things are not in their control; it never is when someone is young. School personnel and parents control every aspect.

The one "emo" girl whom I know well is very sweet. She would be much better off with a "better" mother. Her mother adds to her problems. She also had a tragic event when she was very young.

People should reconsider before they criticize others. We never know what they have gone through.
